Knitting Machines manufactured by Silver/Silver Reed company.

Silver Reed machines were produced first but then the company renamed itself into a Silver Seiko and the machines started being released under the Silver name. Then, after a while, the machines were named again Silver Reed but also (as the company’s market was expanding) as Singer, Studio, Empisal, Riccar, KnitMaster, and Elna. Silver Reed also has a line manufactured under “My Studio” nickname.

So, all those model numbers are interchangeable, even though the names might differ. If you don’t see a model number of interest here, check the Silver, Singer and Studio pages.

Silver/Silver Reed/Studio/Singer knitting machines, especially metal flat-beds, have somewhat different mechanisms than other knitting machines (although there are some overlaps).
