There is a lot of missing information about knitting machines on the World Wide Knitted Web. When I started being obsessed with knitting machines, I could not find just one to-go source of information. Well, it might also be impossible – there is so much to learn and know about these fascinating knitting machines.

Thus, as an attempt to create a fuller database/encyclopedia for anything related to knitting machines, I created this site. Most of the articles are based on my own knowledge and experience, which I fathered/collected/acquired while refurbishing vintage knitting machines manufactured in Japan (by Brother, Singer/Studio/Silver Reed, and Toyota) and in Europe (Passap) and researching information about them.
So… This encyclopedia is a constant work in progress… But even if you don’t see what you are looking for (because I am still working on the content), feel free to message me. I will do my very best to answer you or guide you in the right direction.
My greatest hope is that with this site I will create a useful and as full as possible resource for information related to knitting machines and their assesories.
Thank you for joining me on the journey of discovering more about knitting machines all over the world!
