Brother KH580 is standard-gauge knitting machine with 200 needles, 4.5 mm part, and an eight-pushbutton patterning center for a semi-automatic needle selection to create various textiles.

It is somewhat a mystery machine: I see a manual online for it but I cannot find any other info on it. However, based on the manual, its functionality and other features are similar to other eight pushbutton machines: Brother KH571, Brother (Profile) KH583, and Brother (Profile) KH585 . But it mostly resembles KH552 (no N/MC button) and KH561 (similar vintage row counter) as well as KH581 (even the color combination seem very similar). Thus, read the corresponding articles and manuals if you cannot find information and tutorials for the Brother KH580 machine.

Similar machines but with a slightly advanced patterned (they have an N/MC lever on the right-hand side of the needlebed) center are: Brother KH587, Brother KH588, Brother KH601, Brother KH710 and Brother KH705 (both of which also have foldable carriage handle).
