Silver Pile Rib Knitter

Last Updated on September 1, 2026 by KM-nerd

With such a seemingly strange name, Silver Pile Rib Knitter is simply a ribbing attachment. Although I have not tested one myself yet, it looks very similar to the Silver Reed (also known as Singer and Studio) SRN-321 ribber, on which I wrote a detailed article already. Thus, Silver Pile Rib Knitter is compatible with the following knitting machines: Silver SK301, SK302, SK303, SK305, SK 311-SK315, SK321- SK326 (and potentially higher model numbers), Studio 305, SK301, SK303, 312-315, 321-326 (and potentially higher model numbers), Singer MemoMatic 321, MemoMatic 322, mod. 323 (and potentially higher model numbers), Empisal KnitMaster ES-302 and ES-305, as well as Empisal KnitMaster 321, 323, and 324 and Riccar RK-601, and potentially other models looking similar to the machines mentioned above.

Refer to the pictures below as I look for more information on this attachment. Keep in mind that the pictures below do not show a connecting arm. Talking about a connecting arm: If your ribber came without a connecting arm, some of the color changers for this brand come with a connecting arm, which can be used with this ribber even if the color changer is not used. One example is the YC1 color changer (it is mentioned in its manual).
