Riccar RK-605 knitting machine is a bit of an odd sister in the series of Silver-Reed-produced machines branded as Riccar because of its pushbuttons: all other machines in the Riccar series are indeed like all other Silver Reed machines, have only either turn-knob- or punchcard-based or electronic patterning capabilities.

In fact, Riccar KR-605 looks very similar to the Mitsubishi pushbutton knitting machines, namely, Mitsubishi Color 7 MH700, Mitsubishi Color 7 MH700B, and Mitsubishi Color 8 MH700R. Thus, I am referring you to those already very detailed blog posts.
