Empisal KR680 ribbing attachment
Empisal KR680 ribber fits standard-gauge knitting machines manufactured under Empisal and Brother model names. This ribber has 200 needles, 4.5 mm apart. The picture above shows it attached to an 8-pushbutton model. However, Empisal KR680 ribber looks almost identical to Brother KR810 ribber, which fits punchcard knitting machines as well and even electronic ones but…

Empisal KH601 knitting machine
Empisal KH601 knitting machine has 200 needles (4.5 mm apart), and a pushbutton pattern center for automatic needle selection. Brother KH601 looks identical to Empisal KH610 and KH680. Additionally, the pattern center of Empisal KH-91, Brother KH587, Brother KH588, Brother KH705, Brother KH701, and Brother KH710 knitting machines (with some minor visual differences, like color…

Elna EK2400 knitting machine
Elna EK2400 knitting machine is a standard-gauge machine with 200 needles, 4.5 mm apart. It can be accessorized with an ER2450 ribber. Elna EK2400 is the same as the Toyota KS950 knitting machine. Thus, use the same resources (manuals, tutorials, etc.). Thus, other accessories working with Elna EK2400 are Toyota’s K86 and K86A color changers,…

Silver Reed SK-101 knitting machine
Silver Reed SK-101 is a standard-gauge knitting machine with 200 needles, 4.5 mm apart. It has only basic/manual patterning capabilities. Despite having the same model number as Studio SK101 and Silver SK101, I see some minor differences: Silver Reed SK101 has a built-in row counter (not a slide-in as in Studio SK101 and Silver SK101),…

Brother KH32 knitting machine
Brother KH32 is a standard-gauge knitting machine that appeared on the market in the early 1950s. It has 184 needles, 4.5 mm apart. The machine has only manual (basic) capabilities of needle manipulation. It also looks very similar to Brother KH35, about which I already wrote a very detailed post.

Empisal KH67A knitting machine
Similar to the Empisal KH67 knitting machine, Empisal KH67A strongly resembles Brother Profile 551 but has eight pushbuttons. At the moment, except for minor visual differences, I cannot see any principal distinctions between the KH67 and KH67A models. Thus, I suspect that Empisal KR67 ribber will fit the KH67A model as well.

Empisal KH-67 knitting machine
Empisal KH67 knitting machine is a standard-gauge machine with 200 needles and eight pushbuttons and a pattern center for semi-automatic needle selection and knitting patterned fabric. The look of the needlebed, carriage, and its functions, row counter, all are identical to the Brother Profile 551 knitting machine (which, however, has four pushbuttons and not eight).…

Empisal KR-67 ribbing attachment
Empisal KR67 ribber is an attachment to an 8-pushbutton Empisal KH67 knitting machine. The ribber itself look idential to the Brother KR551 ribber. That makes me suspect that Empsal KR67 and Brother KR551 might be interchangeable. In fact, the carriage and the needle bed for the Brother KH67 machine look identical to the Brother Profile…
