There is no model number written on the lace carriage, but it can be recognized by its square-ish look and brownish color to match the general color sceme of the Brother KH830 knitting machine.

It is obviously a bit more complex than the lace carriages for its older sisters, lace carriages for pushbutton machines.

There is a big question going around on the Internet about the compatibility and interchangeability of various Brother lace carriages. Well, I tested lace carriage from the KH830 machine on the Brother KH840 model, and knitted beautiful lace. So, they are compatible (watch a video).
