Brother KH868 is a standard-gauge knitting machine with 200 needles, 4.5 mm apart. It was probably made only for the Japanese markets since I have not seen any KH868 models with non-Japanese writing on the machine and the carriage.

The machine has built-in garter carriage rails. Overall, this model is very similar to Brother KH860 (a variation with the garter carriage rails), Brother KH864 (which might be a Western analogue since it has English writing) and Brother KH890.
