There is not much at all information about any of the ArtKnitter models, including ArtKnitter RK-200. Below are the pictures I was able to find so far. Some information points that ArtKnitter were manufactured by an Indian company, Simac. However, ArtKnitter RK-200 was for sure “MADE IN JAPAN”.

From the look, it seems to be manufactured in the late early-to-mid 1960s. ArtKnitter RK-200 is very similar looking to the ArtKnitter RK-118 model and has similar needle selection mini carriage. However, from the pictures, it seems that the ArtKnitter RK-200 model is a bit wider and has a slightly less vintage look (for example, the end caps do not open up like on ArtKnitter RK-118 model).

ArtKnitter RK-200 looks and feels like a standard-gauge machine with only basic-manaul stitch/needle manipulation options. However, it comes with a selector carriage add-on, that probably allows for somewhat semi-automatic needle selection, similar to some earlier Silver knitting machines.

Other knitting machine models manufactured by ArtKnitter are RK-10, DX-1000, and DX-2000.
