ArtKnitter DX-1000 knitting machine

There is not much at all information about any of the ArtKnitter models, including ArtKnitter DX-1000. Below are the pictures I was able to find so far.

Knitting machine ArtKnitter DX-1000 was made in Japan.

It is a standard-gauge pushbutton knitting machine, probably released to the market in the mid-1960s.

Check out other pushbutton knitting machine machines. I am not sure how the needle get selected in the ArtKnitter DX-1000 needle. For example, in Brother pushbutton machines, a ratchet on the back of the machine activates the needle selection after the buttons are pushed down. I do not see a ratchet attachment place nor the ratchet itself in the accessory kit. However, I see a turn knob on the left-hand side; so maybe the mechanism is a combination of Brother push-button machines and Silver Reed/Singer/Studio/Empisal turn-knob knitting machines.

Additionally, I see in pictures an interesting strip of dots and lines. I suspect that these are some sort of pattern cards.

Especially if you notice that the buttons are also color-coded.

It looks like there were several iterations of ArtKnitter DX-1000 judging by slightly different color combinations of these machines.

I even see some models named “Sinchro Hi-Matic DX-1000”.

Other knitting machine models manufactured by ArtKnitter are RK-10, RK-118, RK-200, and DX-2000.

Enjoy the pictures below while I am scouting for more information.
