ArtKnitter RK-118 knitting machine

There is not much at all information about any of the ArtKnitter models, including ArtKnitter RK-118. Below are the pictures I was able to find so far. Some information points that ArtKnitter were manufactured by an Indian company, Simac. However, on some ArtKnitter models I see “MADE IN JAPAN” markings.

From the look, it seems to be manufactured in the late early-to-mid 1960s. It looks and feels like a standard-gauge machine. Even though it comes across as a basic/manual model, there is a selector carriage add-on, that probably allows for somewhat semi-automatic needle selection, similar to some earlier Silver knitting machines.

Other knitting machine models manufactured by ArtKnitter are RK-10, RK-200, DX-1000, and DX-2000.

Enjoy the pictures below while I am scouting for more information.

I am not 100% sure tat the “Suzu Knit selector” belonged to the original set because I found a series of pictures where a second mini carriage (which might be the original needle selector) looks more like it belongs to this setup (judging by some of the older Brother and Silver/Silver Reed knitting machine models).
