JUKI K-841 knitting machine

JUKI K-841 is a standard-gauge knitting machine with 200 needles, 4.5 mm apart. Not much is available about this machine. Judging by its vintage row counter, JUKI K-841 was manufactured in Japan very likely in the early 1960s. Additionally, a unique tension mast is also seen in the machines manufactured up to the late 1960s by Brother and Silver Reed/Silver/Singer companies.

Another vintage feature is a detachable screw-on carriage handle and S-shaped table clamps.

Similar knitting machine is JUKI K-821 (with screw-on handles and also with needle selectors). Next model, JUKI K-851 still has a screw-on handle but the carriage has more advanced features.

The setup for the JUKI K-851 includes an interesting add-on carriage. It looks similar to a needle-selection carriage similar to the Silver SK101, SK102, SK103, and SK105 machines but I need to find a manual to be more sure.

Other manufactures also produced various manual/basic standard- and bulky-gauge knitting machines.

Stay tuned as I am looking for more info on this machine and enjoy the pictures of this machine below.
