Singer 200-E knitting machine

Singer 200-E knitting machine is a standard-gauge knitting machine manufactured in Japan by the Silver corporation in the 1960s.

Singer 200E knitting machine is a clone (except for the color combination) of Silver SK101, Studio SK102 and Silver SK102 knitting machines, on which I wrote very detailed blog articles already. Additionally, if you cannot find a manual for the Singer 200E, look for the manuals for these machines.

The foldable handle, round knobs/buttons and their positions on the carriage, (un)foldable ends of the case lid and a vintage row counter, to name a few: all these features are present in the Silver models mentioned above.

Although not shown in the pictures below (together with the sinker plate for the main carriage), the setup for the Singer 200E should include a needle selection carriage: I see a mini-sinker plate in the tool box below. This mini needle selection carriage acts as a vintage needle bug.
