JUKI KE-2500 is a standard-gauge knitting machine with 200 needles, 4.5 mm apart.
It can be clearly seen that it belongs to the JUKI family with its distinct color, loaded carriage, and punchcard mechanism built into the carriage.
Similar to its older sister, KE2400, the sinker plate is called “fabric press”. The needle positions are A, B, D and F.
Looking at the manuals (available online), I do not see many differences between JUKI KE-2400 and JUKI KE-2500. Both have an accessory tray, built-in row counter, accessory box, needlebed extension plates, tension mast… Extension rails for KE-2500 are solid plates, while in KE-2400 they have openings (probably for weight reduction of the whole assembly). Standard setup for KE2400 includes carriage stoppers, while KE2500 does not. The manual for JUKI KE2500 offers more details than that for the KE2400 model. Also, standard setup fr KE2400 does not come with single-motif cams, and KE2500 has them. There are some additional minor differences, but one thing is for sure: KE2500 is distinctly more improved/advanced than KE2400.
A very unusual and interesting feature is built-in, able clamps, which unfold from the case. Very convenient: hard to lose them.

The original color is cream, but there are models that show significant yellowing due to age and exposure to sunlight.
