JUKI K-851 is a standard-gauge, manual/basic knitting machine with 200 needles, 4.5 mm apart.

This machine was manufactured in Japan very likely in the early 1960s judging by its vintage row counter, and 3-wire tension mast (capable of accommodating three different yarns). Such design of the tension mast included with the machines manufactured up to the late 1960s by Brother and Silver Reed/Silver/Singer companies.

Another vintage feature is a detachable screw-on carriage handle and S-shaped table clamps.

The setup for the JUKI K-851 includes an interesting add-on carriage. It looks similar to a needle-selection carriage similar to the Silver SK101, SK102, SK103, and SK105 machines but I need to find a manual to be more sure.

Another basic/manual model manufactured by JUKI is JUKI K-821. Other manufactures also produced various manual/basic standard- and bulky-gauge knitting machines.
Stay tuned as I am looking for more info on this machine and enjoy the pictures of this machine below.
