  • Brother KH32 knitting machine

    Brother KH32 is a standard-gauge knitting machine that appeared on the market in the early 1950s. It has 184 needles, 4.5 mm apart. The machine has only manual (basic) capabilities of needle manipulation. It also looks very similar to Brother KH35, about which I already wrote a very detailed post.

    Similar to the Empisal KH67 knitting machine, Empisal KH67A strongly resembles Brother Profile 551 but has eight pushbuttons. At the moment, except for minor visual differences, I cannot see any principal distinctions between the KH67 and KH67A models. Thus, I suspect that Empisal KR67 ribber will fit the KH67A model as well.

    Empisal KR-67 ribbing attachment

    Empisal KR67 ribber is an attachment to an 8-pushbutton Empisal KH67 knitting machine. The ribber itself look idential to the Brother KR551 ribber. That makes me suspect that Empsal KR67 and Brother KR551 might be interchangeable. In fact, the carriage and the needle bed for the Brother KH67 machine look identical to the Brother Profile…

    This lace carriage has its typical clay-grey coloration. Other functionalities seem to match those of other Brother electronic machines.     The ribbing attachment Brother KR838 was available for select markets. Its functionality and compatibility with Brother machines are identical to Brother KR850 ribber; thus, refer to the corresponding manual and my blog post.

    Empisal KH770 knitting machine has 200 needles, and 8-pushbutton patterning/needle-selection mechanism. It is a strange combination of the looks of Brother KH551 (4-pushbutton machine) and the functionality of Brother KH552 (8-pushbutton machine).
