Singer mod. 323 knitting machine is a standard-gauge knitting machine manufactured in Japan and released to the Western markets in 1973. The machine has 200 needles, 4.5 apart.
On some parts it shows as Singer mod. 323 and on the carriage as Singer MemoMatic 323. These names are interchangible.

Singer mod. 323 is identical (except for the color) to the Singer MemoMatic 321. Thus, read the details in that particular post. In the meantime, enjoy the only pictures of Singer mod. 323 I could find.
Interesting is that an earlier model, Singer MemoMatic 322, has a built-in knit leader while Singer mod. 323 does not. The same applies to the Empisal KnitMaster 323 model: it does not have a built-in knit leader.
PS. I find the model/name for this machine a bit misleading. Typically, the “mod” is present in the Studio machine model numbers. Singer machines of that type and generation have “MemoMatic” in their name. Singer mod. 323 is kind of a hybrid of all those names. Go figure!
