Toyota NT-12 knitting machine

Toyota mod. NT-12 knitting machine seems like a standard-gauge knitting machine with 180 needles (judging by the picture of the markings on the needlebed).

At the moment, I am not sure whether the needles are 5.5 mm (like some other Toyota knitting machines from that time) or 4.5 mm. It probably appeared on the market in the mid-to-late 1950s. Indeed, it has that super vintage/nostalgic look from the 1950s.

I suspect that the carriage handle in the picture below is not attahced but it is inside a lid. It is probably a screw-on and a foldable one.

The tension mast is simple, and the row counter has a vintage look, too. I would like to see how it attaches to the needlebed. I think it screws to that fixture next to the carriage in the picture below.

The rectangular feature on the right hand eisde of the needle bed, shown below, is very likely a vintage version of extension rails.
