Silver Reed SK-700N knitting machine

This nice-looking machine is a 200-needle standard-gauge knitting machine and was manufactured in the mid-1980s. It accepts/reads punchcards to create patterns in the knitted fabric. The machine’s carriage has built-in intarsia options. It also has a built-in knit leader.

This machine is identical (except for the color) to the Silver Reed SK-700 and very similar to the Singer MemoMatic 700, on which I had a chance to knit and learn about its pros and cons. Thus, read the corresponding article while enjoying the pictures of Silver Reed SK700N below.
