Corona CN-9N knitting machine is a bulky-gauge knitting machine with 100 needles. Some sources say it is 8 mm gauge and some 9 mm. Since I still have not workedon mine, I don’t know for sure. If any of my readers can clarify it or even send me a picture with a ruler against the needles, that would be great!

Corona CN-9N is made in Japanese but not clear when it first appeared on the market. It is a basic/manual model where patterning can only be done by manually manipulating the stitches.
Corona CN9N machine can knit intarsia (the manual described it very well).
Similar to other Corona knitting machines, Corona CN-9N does not have your typical sponge bar strip inside a metal retaining bar but (according to the manual and other Internet resources) has dampeners- one a wide strip for the sinker plate and one like a cord for needle movement control. Also, it is not as easy to replace them as for Brother and Singer/Silver Reed/Studio knitting machines because the end caps need to be removed.
This machine is identical (except for the color) to the Corona CN-110 and Brother KH210, except for the fact that the latter ones have 100 needles.
