Brother KH365 knitting machine

Brother KH365 is a plastic needlebed dual gauge knitting machine. It has exchangeable needlebed sections with the distances between grooves for needles either 4.5 mm or 9 mm. However, the needles are the same. I have not had a chance to work on a convertible dual-gauge machine like this, but I can imagine that despite has capabilities of a bulky-gauge machine, it is still limited to a range of yarns it can take due to the needle sizes being the same.

It is a rather simple machine with only basic/manual patterning and stitch manipulation capabilities, which makes it excellent for beginners.

Stay tuned as I research more on the pros and cons of this and other convertible machines.
