ArtKnitter DX-2000 knitting machine

ArtKnitter DX-2000 is a standard gauge knitting machine with 8-pushbuttons to allow knitters to automatically select needles.

I did not have a personal experience with this machine (yet) and it is also hard to find any information on ArtKnitter machines. However, there is a free manual online for ArtKnitter DX-2000.

ArtKnitter DX-2000 was manufactured in Japan and released to the markets in the mid-1960s.

It is a 8-pushbutton knitting machine, which seems to be a bit more advanced than its slightly older sister, ArtKnitter DX-1000.

It seems that the buttons when pressed bring forward a pre-determined needles/needle-positions, as shown below. Thus, no ratchet (like in Brother push-button machines) is needed to activate the needle selection.

There seem to be several different iterations on ArtKnitter DX-2000, judging y slightly different color combos and the way the logo is written.
