Knitting Machine Empisal Knitmaster model 324

I am a proud owner of Empisal Knitmaster model 324 and I am excited that I first hand can judge on pros and cons of this machine. What a machine-knitting nerd I am!

Similary to its SilverReed-, Singer-, Studio- and Riccar-named sisters, Empisal Knitmaster model 324 was manufactured and released to the markets in mid 1970s. It is a standard-gauge knitting machine with 200 needles 4.5 mm apart. It has a stand-alone box to store tools and punchcard reading mechanism to create 24-stitch repeat patterns.

In the mean time read about the same and similar models:

Singer mod. 323Studio mod. 323, Studio mod. 321Silver SK321 as well as Silver SK322Studio mod. 322, and Singer MemoMatic 322, Studio mod. 321 and Studio mod. 324.

Unlike Studio mod. 324, Empisal KnitMaster 324 does not have metal screw to attach end caps but plastic rivets in most places. This feature probably depends on where the machine was assembled/manufactured. Empisal Knitmaster models with patterning drums are more typical for United Kingdom (as well as other European) and Australian markets.
