Brother KG-93 carriage continues a series of automatic carriages that knit independently when plugged in. They are capable of creating alternating knit and purl stitches: purl-facing stitches are knitted in the main bed needles and knit=facing stitches are knit by the garter carriage needle.

I am a proud owner of Brother KG93, so come back often as I am discovering new features and kinks. Also, check out my post about garter carriages in general: it has a lot of useful advises including on troubleshooting.

Similarly to Brother KG-89II and KG-95 carriage, Brother KG93 has automatic cast on and cast off option. It also fits Brother and Knitking electronic knitting machines and some machines with punchcard reading capabilities (if that machine has built-in garter carriage rails, then it will accommodate garter carriage).

The manual shows a special power adapter for be used with only KH930. However, I was able to use other adapters with this garter carriage (what about vice versa? I have not checked yet.)

Basically, Brother KG93 is very similar to Brother KG95 garter carriage. Thus, read that article on pros and cons while enjoying the rest of the picture below.
