This lace carriage has its typical clay-grey coloration. Other functionalities seem to match those of other Brother electronic machines. Stay tuned as I am discovering more relevant details specific to this carriage.

When you open the lace carriage for the KH950i machine, all springs should be as shown below. Pay attention to their position, direction and whether they stick into the correct holes.

Also check the magnet on the back of the carriage to make sure it is not dirty or missing.
