One of the fans of my Knitting machine Encyclopedia (huge thanks, by the way!) helped me to discover this type of knitting machines. I am not sure if there is a series of Tazimaseisakusyo knitting machines but this is what we discovered so far.
- ART Tazimaseisakusyo. Categorization of the machine below can go both ways: it can either an ART model or Tazimaseisakusyo . As we discover more machines under those brand names, we will know more. This machine has a pushbutton mechanism (the golden buttons below). Each button engages the pegs in front of them in the sets of four. There is a reset button as well.

The silver bar-like feature in the picture below is a handle that slides left and right easily. Check the picture on the right: it is lifted into its vertical position. The needles that actually form stitches are actually on a detachable metal bar. I’ll call this mechanism for now a “reverse needle bar”. I saw similar mechanism on other vintage knitting machines.
